Airbag
- music: Radiohead "Airbag"
- mood: Bloody weather.
- current art: Surprise gift for somebody
Whoa, I haven't been blogging much. I just got lazy, really. Let's review what happened, in the order of what I remember first.
- Islington got three pairs of shoes now. She looks funny naked except for a pair of shoes. One pair was from Midvalley, a sort of keychain sneakers that look very much like MSD size. I didn't buy them at first (they were RM5+ each!) but gone back a few days later with WY and got two pairs, one glittery pink for Islington and a pair of black ones for a friend.
The other two are from ebay: White and pink with white soles. I try not to think of the price, maybe I'll be selling the white ones, they don't seem to be her style (which is mainly pink). They look so lovely and matching with her pink eyes! Eeee~
- Speaking of Islington, I got all the materials needed for her makeup now: blusher tools, tiny brushes, filbert brushes, gloss color and pearl pink color, rubbing alcohol, everything, except MSC. Turns out the place I ordered them from couldn't send them (cos of some international law against mailing aerosol products) so I'm buying them from a fellow Malaysian DOA member. We'll meet in KLCC this weekend, I hope to rope in someone to go with me, but if all else fails, I'll go alone. Anything for Islington eh?
- The dollies I collaborated on with for the graduation campaign finally came through. Yesterday the whole batch was busy packing the dolls into plastic bags and making boxes. There are like thousands and thousands of them, sprawled all around the floor, everyone in little groups working like they're in some sweatshop factory. It was creepy at first seeing my artwork like that on the floor, but I joined in soon after. It was fun thinking how everyone's gonna be selling them (everyone gets 10 each to sell). And it was particularly fun to remember how those who had condemned the project now have to sell them as well. Hohoho. I hope the images burn into their minds.
- I have been a little bookworm. When I went to Midvalley, I bought three books, expensive but hey, they're books. They're good for you. I bought:
Chuck Palahniuk "Fight Club" The book is not so different from the movie. I think I prefer the movie version. I like rereading it.
William Golding "Lord of the Flies" cos it's about kids killing each other. I like reading about that.
George Orwell "1984" It might as well be best friends with V for Vendetta. They're so alike. Interesting note: The actor who played Winston in the 1984 BBC TV series also The Chancellor played in the V for Vendetta movie. Whatta contrast eh?
Then WY borrowed me two books:
Anchee Min "Empress Orchid" I didn't finish this book. It got too pathetic to me.
Dan Brown "Angels and Demons" ughh.. do I want to read this? - The computer is acting funny these days. And oooo I'm in a mood to paint!
I'm gonna go spend my time productively now and play The Sims2.

You like Lord of the Flies? I didn't like that book. 1984 was so trippy. It's awesome. Haven't seen V for Vendetta, but when I heard about it, I thought of 1984.
Islington?! Jeez... XDD
