Woooo. Well, I can't work on anymore digital art. The computer goes super sluggish once I click open file. I have some linearts to work on though once I get the mac.
Sooo my gaia art contest is coming to an end, finally. So many gorgeous entries *_*.. which reminds me.. make site for the girls! I think I will do that today.
I'm already making a list of things to improve on for my next art contest, but I don't know when that will be. I'll probably offer DJs as the main prize, but I don't really have anything to back that up (DJs are worth 20mil). Maybe I'll just sell it.. but DJs are kinda a hot item.. hmm.
I think I'll join more contests, improve skills and try to win stuff for it then.
The next art contest will feature Islington (duh!), my OC (which reminds me to actually design an OC..), India, Sasa and London. And some other stuff, we'll see.

I took lots of pics of the girls yesterday. They're in here and here. Ooo turns out my girls are actually rather famous, hehehehe. Don't tell em, it'll get into their heads and make em bigger.

I made a contest entry for this gaia contest, and did only the lineart cos I assumed that there would be a WIP deadline (work in progress deadline.. if submit a WIP, usually theres a time extension). But I was wrong, there isn't any, and the host decided to have one anyway at the last minute (like on the last day!!). Lots of people got annoyed (I wisely didn't comment) but turns out that the ending date for the contest itself was only 20 hours away, so I worked my ass off to color it and submitted it on time. I don't know about the new WIP deadline now. I think the people there don't like me XD. Here's the pic anyway:

Just a very quick job on coloring and halftone experimentation on it. It looks nice at some parts, but at other parts.. makes me feel kinda.. itchy..

My next project is to paint something inspired by Liu Wei and Stephanie Pui. God help me!
